About the project
Website design and development for the Association of Licensed Tourist Guides of Greece. The website was custom designed by Noetik's design team and is using the Umbraco CMS for content management.
The website features a tourist guides directory, personal tourist guide pages, recommended tours, photo galleries and booking request forms.
The main information of the website is available is 8 languages and the personal tourist guide pages provide information in more than 20 languages.
The Association of Licensed Tourist Guides was founded in 1925 and is the first professional tour guide association in Greece. It is based in Athens and serves the promotion of professional rights and the education of its members. The Association has been inextricably linked with the establishment of the State School of Tourist Guides, which provides high-level training for the preparation of qualified professional guides.
About the client
Tourist guides are like academics but they never write, they only speak. They are like teachers, but they don't use notes or tests, they entertain people in their free time and holidays.
